Nadella, Narayen among tech CEOs investing in cricket's American dream

As the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup is being co-hosted by the U.S. for the first time, investors have invested nearly a billion dollars in building the sport in America. High-profile CEOs and investors, including those from Microsoft and Adobe, are investing in the new U.S. professional cricket league, Major League Cricket. The goal is to make cricket a mainstream sport in the U.S. With nearly $850 million being invested, there are currently six professional teams in Major League Cricket. Additionally, the T20 World Cup is being held at multiple locations in the U.S. and the West Indies throughout June.
