Ted Kellner replaces Steve King as CEO of Milwaukee RNC Host Committee

Ted Kellner, a Milwaukee businessman and philanthropist who has been a Republican donor for many years and supported Milwaukee's Republican National Convention efforts, is now the CEO of Milwaukee 2024. Steve King was previously the CEO.

In a press release issued on Thursday, King stated that the move would allow him to spend more time with his North Carolina family. King, who is a Wisconsin native will continue to serve on the Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee Board.

Reince Priebus, chairman of the Host committee, said that he expected Kellner would step in to continue to build on the progress made by the committee to date.

Priebus stated, 'I am confident that we will build on our successes to host a convention of world-class in 2024.

Kellner is ready to start working for the host committee. He's busy with his business and community commitments. Kellner, who is the treasurer of the host committee, was already involved in fundraising. He will likely commit some funds from his own pocket to the committee.

Kellner stated that Milwaukee is a welcoming, vibrant city. I am eager to continue the work Steve and his team started in order to show off all that we have to give by 2024.

King was appointed CEO in September 2022. He helped to launch the work of the host committee. King is a former Czech ambassador and has participated in 12 Republican presidential nomination conventions.

Kellner is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Fiduciary Management Inc. and a minority shareholder of the Milwaukee Bucks. He is still executive chairman of Fiduciary Real Estate Development, based in Milwaukee. He also serves as chairman and CEO of T&M Partners.
