The United Auto Workers have reached a tentative labor agreement with Chrysler parent Stellantis. This brings the union closer to the end of a historic strike which has affected all three automakers, and forced more than 45,000 employees on the picket line for six weeks.

According to sources familiar with the situation, the UAW intends to announce the contract proposal as early as Saturday afternoon.
